Dancing my Life Away!

Dancing my Life Away!

I finally get to share my news with you.  I’m in Korea to participate in Dancing with the Stars. What an opportunity!  I know what you’re thinking!  “How can you do it,  Jeanette?!!” I know!  I can’t bend to either side or backwards,  I can bend forward but with no arch, so I can’t do a body wave….I have so many medical issues… but still!  I have heart!  I will try my best!  I told them my physical condition.  They are still willing to have me.  Thats all I need to know. Did you know professional dance lessons was on […]

WPBA Hall of Fame Induction

WPBA Hall of Fame Induction

I just had the most amazing night of my life. I was inducted into the WPBA Hall of Fame. My very good friend, Dr Donald Wardell gave the speech, had us all in tears!  I had a friend record it so as soon as its ready, I’ll post it up on my website.  It was so emotional because it was the very first time anyone, including myself, had talked in depth about what I’ve been through to get where I am.  My husband, three of my daughters, my cousin and a few good friends traveled a long way just to be there. […]

Thankful for my family during the holidays!

Thankful for my family during the holidays!

During this Holiday Season, I have had a little time to reflect on where my life is right now. How blessed I am to have a great family. Thank you GOD for loving me, for watching out for me and all those I love! My mom is so considerate.  She is caring, generous, loving, hardworking, thoughtful, self-sufficient, helpful to her loved ones and to her community!  She’s been there for me through every surgery I’ve had and most of all, she has shown me unconditional love.  She is everything I hope to be!  My dad has worked hard his whole […]

What a pain in my neck!

What a pain in my neck!

About three weeks ago, I started feeling a pain in my neck.  It has spread down into my shoulders, my back and down my arm.  Don’t know what to do with it!  I keep thinking it’ll go away but it’s been three weeks now.  I made an appt to see my ortho doctor, Terry Trammell.  Dianna says I’m avoiding seeing him because I don’t wanna hear what he has to say….Aggravating…. Regardless of that, I’ve had the best week of this decade!  I went on a cruise with my very good friend and PA (personal assistant) Dianna for her 50th […]

Preparing for WPBA Nationals in Oregon

Preparing for WPBA Nationals in Oregon

Hello all!  I’ve started playing more pool again lately.  I’ve been battling a string of physical ailments.  My back and neck have been as bad as it’s been for a while, makes mornings especially pretty tough.  Then I got laryngitis and pneumonia on top of that.  Then I strained an abdominal muscle which made it tough to do the simplest things.  All of it is getting better but it’s been more annoying than anything else because there’s always so much to do. One thing for sure, it’s made me really hungry to play since I simply couldn’t do it for […]

Tony Stewart Foundation

Tony Stewart Foundation

This last week, I went to Tony Stewart’s house for his Tony Stewart Foundation and played pool and hung out with him and a bunch of incredible animals from the Columbus Zoo.  Full Grown Cheetah, baby White Tigers, a baby kangaroo to name a few.  Incredible.  Who gets to do things like that?  He’s such a cool person, I’ve known Tony for a while through my friendship with Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops.  Glad we spent more time together.  The next day, I flew out to spend time with my greatest fans, APA league players, who “made it to […]

Goals, Goals, Goals

Goals, Goals, Goals

Hi all.  It’s been a while. I think I’ve gotten so caught up with getting more familiar with Facebook and I love the instant gratification of hearing from my fans on my Fan Page of my Facebook page  /jeanetteleetheblackwidow I just got back from a tournament in Tulsa.  It’s was a long week away from my kids.  I played pretty well for most of the tournament.  I always seem to feel so unprepared because I used to play so many hours a day and now, with all the kids and the necessity to keep marketing myself with the help, of […]

On the Mend

On the Mend

Hey guys! I’ve been wanting to write a blog about this last couple of weeks. I was getting ready to leave for my Black Widow Experience clinic that I hold here in Indy. I love teaching. I love sharing my knowledge of the fundamentals, the perfect stroke, the strategies of 9ball and 8ball, and most of all, the mental game. I started doing it so that I can do what I love, right from my home town. On this last Monday, I was heading down the stairs with a load of laundry and somehow slipped. I landed right on my […]

WPBA Nationals

WPBA Nationals

I’ve been thinking about pool so much lately. I try to squeeze in time every day to play pool. It is…really….squeezing it in. It’s sad but the most of my time is spent at the computer working, marketing, etc and the rest of the time is spent with my kids. Last night I took Chey dress shopping. Tonight, we made beaded necklaces! You should see the ones they made me! One of a kind, for sure!!! I’ve been doing some drills that Mark Wilson in St Louis gave me. They are called Power Drills. Hi, low, center, with a very […]
